1. How to Book?

Please contact us via email or fill up our pre-booking form and we will answer you within 24h.

 

2. How can I pay?

By Paypal.com, we require a deposit of 20% in order to confirm your booking. Upon receiving the deposit we will send you a booking confirmation email with a voucher for the contracted services and final destination details and contacts. The remaining balance is paid in cash upon arrival to the surf camp.

 

3. Are flights included in your price?

None of our packages include plane tickets, but you can check in "My Surf Trip" section to see the information of the airlines that travel to El Salvador and required taxes.

4. Will I be able to use the credit card to pay in the stores?

Yes, the majority of the stores accept credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard but is always useful to have cash in hand. Many small commerce accepts cash only. Our guides can take you to the nearest ATM or bank.

 

5. Are there prerequisites that can be important for the participation in surfing lessons?

We want to give the possibility to all the ages and both sexes. The important thing is for you to have good body resistance, absence of serious respiratory, pulmonary and cardiac illnesses and swimming ability - at least 25 meters crawl. (check our physical conditioning program)

 

6. What language do the instructors/guides speak?

They all speak English and Spanish.

 

7. Are the surf spots very dangerous?


El Salvador has every kind of waves possible from the mellowest as Sunzal to the hollow waves such as Punta Roca. Our surf guides will be happy to help you find waves according to your level.

 

8. Are there any problems with the locals and foreign surfers?


If you follow the basic rules concerning the respect for the locals you won´t have any problems, El Salvador wide surfing history is growing and now is very normal for locals to enjoy the waves with the visitors.

 

9. Is it necessary to rent a car?


No, El Salvador Surf camp provides you in any package a vehicle and surf guide, that will take you to any surf spot or place you need to go during your stay.

 

10. Is it safe in El Salvador?


El Salvador is a safe and friendly country, however downtown San Salvador (capital city) could be dangerous. We don’t take our clients to that area. The surf camp is located in a absolutely safe small village with private houses on the beach.

 

11. How is accommodation?

You can choose accommodation in any of the two main surfing areas of the country. Please check our "Surf Accommodation in El Salvador" page

 

12. Are there any mosquito's? Do I need any vaccines?

Yes, there are some mosquito's due to the tropical location and environment, but it is not this an epidemic problem. It is currently controlled by a government health programme. There are no know cases of Malaria for the past 10 years.
No, You don't need any vaccines but insect repellent comes really handy ,o)

 

13. What are the most frequent health problems for visitors?


Cholera and stomach problems due to poor sanitation and ill prepared meals. This will not be a problem during your stay with us, our restaurant has the highest standards.

 

14. Is the Camp's staff known? Do they have background?

You will be assisted by local experienced, well known and traveled surfers, capable of bringing what's best for you that have the desire of living new and intense experiences in surfing. See Camp's Staff.

16. Entry and VISA requirements

Passport  - Your passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay in El Salvador.

Visa - Required for some nationalities More info>>

Ticket - You need to have a ticket for return or onward travel.

Taxes - US$32.00 departing from the International Airport Comalapa.
