Our instructor was always available, and we discussed the surfing conditions several times during the day to find the best times for surfing. The accommodation was much better than we expected. We were really happy to find out that we were away from the El Tonco bars at night but within walking distance to the dancing. Many people were talking about how they could not sleep in front of the bars where we had no problems! I dont think that your website really does the hotel justice. The hotel is much nicer than we thought and it's the fanciest in El Tonco. Showers were wonderful! Awesome hammock outside! Food was excellent! Juan is Number Juan! He was with us the whole time and really went above and beyond to make our stay meaningful. He helped us with our surfing but also everything else from helping with car arrangements to tips on sightseeing to taking us to La Porte del Diablo when we were too sore to surf one day. He introduced us to other locals so we would be able to get to know the area and the other surfers. He even invited us to his home on New Years since we were away from family. We had a lot of fun learning and laughing at the wipeouts. We went whenever we wanted and Juan was always up for it - even if he was just in the water with us helping. I loved that he would demonstrate for us as well as just talking about the techniques. Diana was also super awesome helping me book the reservation when I had no idea what to expect! Gracias! I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at Las Flores AST house. Emmerson and Diana were great hosts and looked after us very well. Mauricella is one of the best cooks I have come across in my travels, and every meal was excellent. The rest of the staff (Vicky, Blanca, Carolina) were always smiling and it created a very relaxed friendly vibe for our time in the camp. Marcus was helpful with information and driving us around when necessary. Myself and the boys will hopefully return soon! Dave from South Africa |

We have appreciated all the communication. Coordinating our large group was a challenge, but we felt the details were well taken care of.
